Security Deposit / Lease Rental Fee
For each booking made through the Zoomcar Platform, the Lessee shall have to pay Lease Rental in advance which shall include–

Rental fee calculated basis the start and the end time of the trip. The Lease Rental fee per hour changes dynamically based on the lead time to booking start, location of the booking, vehicle chosen and the duration of the booking.
Refunds, Charges and Payments
All refunds shall be made through the original payment account / mode, 5 to 15 days. Refund initiation TAT 6 hours.

Payments owed by Lessees under this Fee Policy or other applicable policies will be deducted from the security deposit, if any deposited with Zoomcar. If the security deposit does not cover such payments, the balance must be paid by the Lessee electronically within 24 hours of the booking end time, as per Zoomcar’s payment instructions.


The Lessee shall ensure that the account from which the amounts are to be collected have sufficient funds or credit available to cover any charges and/or amount payable to Zoomcar. Lessees are solely responsible for any associated bank or credit card charges or fees. Lessees may be charged a processing fee for a declined credit or debit card payment.


In the event the Lessee defaults on any payments, Zoomcar is entitled to charge reminder fees and default interest in accordance with the provisions of the law. In addition, Zoomcar may designate third parties to collect amounts owed to Zoomcar by a Lessee.


Zoomcar reserves the right to prohibit a Lessee from making a subsequent booking on the Platform until all outstanding fees in the Lessee's account have been paid in full. In the event a fee is incurred, the Lessee will receive an email invoice from Zoomcar that will have detailed payment instructions.


The Lessee should not make any direct payments to the Host or to any Zoomcar executive in any mode.
